Teacher. Facilitator. Warrior. Woman. Gatherer of Tribe. Student of Spirit.
My offerings pour out of an old soul and a poetry soaked heart . My calling at this intersection of time is to facilitate connection & eradicate separation. To gather and witness humans reclaim what has been forgotten & laid dormant. My teaching is candid, the talk is real, the movement steeped in aligned attention.
I have a story of life just like you, some of my chapters spoken out loud, some kept silent under my own wings.
I was born & grew as a child under the thunder of war in the ancient landscapes of Iran, Until overnight my papa decided to gather up his wife & 3 kids and run. From what felt like a castle for a home, we became refugees,
I was 11. Survival became the main item on the menu & I got used to its flavour. At 13 I became an immigrant. Was this freedom? Was this peace? What would I do with it? Who would I become?
I didn't know, but I made a promise, to never waste, forget, look back only to move forward.
I was a warrior. I knew that at an early age.
What I didn't know until I was 33, was the cause that warrior was destined to serve.
So my cause is this...
I beg you to love, feel, forgive, be yourself. Speak up. Stand for justice, play, get off your phone, listen, pray.
Yoga is fertile practice ground for our lives. Partly serious, often hilarious, brave and also quiet.
Become the doorway to the temple of your own soul, the gateway to spirit...enter.
